fire_damage

Controls whether fire and lava deal damage to players and mobs. When false, walking through fire or standing in lava deals no damage — useful for creative builds or fire-themed maps.

Enable fire_damage

Fire and lava deal their normal damage — 1 per second for fire, 4 per second for lava.

Bedrock/gamerule firedamage true

Bedrock uses firedamage (all-lowercase, no separators).

Disable fire_damage

No damage from fire or lava. Entities can stand in flames and lava indefinitely.

Default: true. Restore with /gamerule fire_damage true
