mob_griefing

Controls whether mobs can modify blocks in the world. When false, creepers and TNT still explode but don't destroy blocks; endermen can't pick up blocks; wither can't break blocks; villagers can't farm.

Enable mob_griefing

Mobs can interact with and modify blocks — creepers destroy terrain, endermen move blocks, withers break blocks (default behavior).

Bedrock uses mobgriefing (all-lowercase, no separators).

Disable mob_griefing

Mobs cannot modify blocks. Creepers explode but deal only entity damage. Endermen can't pick up blocks. Withers can't break blocks. Villagers can't harvest crops.

Does mob_griefing affect creeper explosions?
Partially — creepers still explode and damage entities, but with mob_griefing false they no longer destroy blocks.
Does mob_griefing prevent Wither destruction?
Yes — the Wither's skull projectiles will not break blocks when mob_griefing is false.
Does it affect villager farming?
Yes — villagers cannot harvest or replant crops when mob_griefing is disabled.
