Give a Player OP
Grant operator permissions to a player. Run: `/op PlayerName`. Grants operator (OP) status to a player, giving them access to all commands and bypassing permission checks. Replace PlayerName with the exact username. On Java, OP level (1-4) is configurable in ops.json. Use /deop PlayerName to revoke. This command can only be run from the server console or by an existing OP. Works on Java 26.2 and Bedrock 26.32. Last verified June 2026.
