✅ Verified for Java 26.2 · Bedrock 26.32 — checked June 2026Snaps your camera into another entity's point of view while you are in Spectator mode. /spectate <target> makes you spectate that target; adding a second argument makes a chosen player spectate instead of you. Run /spectate with no target to stop and return to your own free-fly view. Java Edition only.

How to use
- Switch yourself to spectator with /gamemode spectator.
- Open chat (T).
- Paste /spectate @r (or a player/entity selector) and press Enter.
- Run /spectate with no arguments to detach and free-fly again.
