Spawn a permanent baby chicken. Run: /summon minecraft:chicken ~ ~ ~ {Age:-2147483648}. Spawns a baby chicken that never grows up. Uses the minimum int Age so the timer never reaches adult. Baby chickens do not lay eggs, making them safe decorative mobs. Works on Java 26.2 and Bedrock 26.32. Last verified June 2026.
